MISSION

Our mission is to provide a community for cancer nurses in the UAE where together we will improve nursing care for cancer patients and their families. Promoting nurses role in cancer care and developing nursing leaders shaping the future of oncology nursing care in the United Arab Emirates.

AIMS

To strengthen nurses’ knowledge through connecting and networking with one another and to help nurses to prepare for professional oncology nursing certification. The society will share knowledge in clinical practice, education, and research outcomes through identifying the gaps in clinical practice. Expected outcomes are personal growth and empowerment, as well as changes in practice and education.

The founding members of the Emirates Oncology Nursing Society are Ms. Tahani Al Dweikat, Ms. Suzanne Oakley, Ms. Rosemary Wasti and Mr. Khaled Al Qawasmeh.
